6 Breakfast Places in Amsterdam
Fancy having a breakfast at Tiffany’s? Well, if you happen to be in New York, then we encourage you to do it. Today, we are going to talk about our favourite places to get breakfast in Amsterdam. Why? Well first, breakfast fuels your energy to perform your daily activities. Second, breakfast is delicious and everyone deserves a good breakfast.
Bakers & Roasters
“Relax, It’s Brunch” says the parrot of Bakers & Roasters. We completely agree with it. This New Zealand style cafe is usually packed with hungry people during brunch hours – for a good reason: they serve delicious breakfast. The most popular dish that is well loved by the customers is the Kiwi Brekkie – typical New Zealander. We decided to try the pancakes instead and it was absolutely great. We love it!
Address: Eerste Jacob van Campenstraat 54
Lot Sixty One Coffee Roasters
If you have an “on the go” lifestyle and want to grab something easy, yummy and quick then Lot Sixty One is the place to go. Lot Sixty One serves delicious house-roasted coffee and pastries. Grab that Espresso to gain your morning confidence and the yummy banana bread to fill up your tummy 😋.
Address: Kinkerstraat 112
The name gave it away – the perfect place for egg lovers! A breakfast won’t be complete without eggs. Omelegg serves… Well, omelettes. You can go for traditional omelettes with cheese and bacon or go fancy with chicken and pesto. Craving for something sweet? The banana peanut butter omelettes are surprisingly good as well! OK fine, if you are tired of omelettes, they do sell great sandwiches, croissants and sweet baked goodies – but to be honest… you’re missing the fun.

The Cold Pressed Juicery
If you’re on top of your health game, then The Cold Pressed Juicery is the perfect spot for you to grab a quick and healthy breakfast. They have several locations across Amsterdam – so you won’t have to worry about the travel. The juices are made using the latest cold-pressed technology, which retains the most nutritional value compared to other types of juicing. Aside from juices, you should definitely try their pesto wraps, banoffee parfait, and superfood smoothies! Everything here is organic and raw – a great option for you if you’re a vegetarian/vegan.

This is not a consulate. This is a very great coffee place that local Amsterdamer love. Located in the trendiest area of Amsterdam: De Pijp, Scandinavian Embassy is perfect for students, young entrepreneurs or creatives that are looking for a space to work their brains off. We recommend you to try their latte, carrot cake, as well as their poached egg (with salmon!) ☕️

The Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club gave us a nostalgic feeling as it was the name of a popular romantic comedy in the 80s. However, The Breakfast Club that we want to talk about serves one of the most delicious pancakes in Amsterdam! Our favourite is the New York city breakfast – buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and banana. The way we like it: sweet and simple.
